All of our giclée canvas prints are made with a poly cotton blended canvas that has a water resistant matte finish and bright white surface. This archival inkjet canvas is pH neutral and acid free. Like mentioned above this canvas has a hearty matte finish and is water resistant but if you want to truly seal it then adding a protective coating is advised. Artists have also had success with spraying a UV Protective spray varnish on canvases as well. It's not going to provide as much of a protective barrier as the above technique but it will add some extra protection. Here's a spray we like:
